Hassaan Mahdy

I am Hassaan Mahdy, a seasoned professional currently contributing my expertise to the NilePreneurs Initiative in a dual role. As the manager of the packaging and product design incubator, I guide idea-phase startups through their journey to achieve functional prototypes. Simultaneously, I serve as the community manager, fostering key relationships between NilePreneurs and stakeholders across the entrepreneurship ecosystem, not only in Egypt but throughout the MENA Region.

My impact at NilePreneurs extends beyond administrative responsibilities; I’ve played a pivotal role in supporting over 100 startups, offering strategic guidance for their business success. Drawing from diverse experiences, I have represented prominent entities such as “Google MENA” and “Misr El Kheir Foundation,” working seamlessly in multidisciplinary teams across the MENA region. This exposure has honed my ability to navigate dynamic and complex working environments.

Educationally, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a higher technological institute since 2016. Committed to continuous learning, I have earned certificates in Project Management, Agile methodologies, and Entrepreneurship from the German University in Cairo. Currently, I am pursuing an Executive MBA at Nile University.

In essence, I am an inspired leader with a robust track record spanning over 8 years. My portfolio includes successfully driving and managing complex projects in diverse industries across the MENA Region, encompassing Business Startups, Entrepreneurship, Community Building, Innovation & Technology Management, and Events Management.
