With these experiences, I understand the landscape and African business owners’ challenges. Having grown up and worked in Nigeria in the early stage of my career, I saw people try to launch innovative ideas that could have flown off if they were in a more developed economy with access to mentors, inspiration, and funds. Some of those ideas failed; each time a business venture fails, I see it as a loss to the economy. I understand and empathise with these challenges and want to help inspire and empower budding African entrepreneurs.
