About

Lola is a seasoned technology and innovation expert with nearly two decades of global industry experience. She has held diverse roles across Europe and Africa, contributing to prestigious companies such as Commerzbank, BNP Paribas, Union Bank, First Bank of Nigeria where notably, she spearheaded the Digital Innovation Labs and served as Chief Digital Officer at FBNQuest, a subsidiary of FBN Holdings Plc., one of Africa’s largest financial services organizations. Lola founded WorldZar Technologies, a firm dedicated to empowering organizations with world-class innovative technological solutions and services.
She contributes to several boards, including Trademark Africa (TMA) an Aid-for-Trade organisation headquartered in Kenya with presence in fourteen countries focused on advancing seamless trade across Africa, AI in Nigeria leading the charge in localising and scaling AI across Nigeria and Southwest Innovation and Technology (SWIT) a subsidiary of Odu’a Investment Company. She also serves as an external member of HealthCap Africa’s VC Investment Committee.
Lola holds a BSc in Business Information systems with First Class Honours and an MBA from Imperial College Business School, London. She has received various awards, including the: Emerging Alumni Leader Award 2024 – Imperial College London, Women in ICT Award at the Women Tech Network Global Awards 2022 and Top 40 CEOs under 40 in Africa by Young Entrepreneurs Summit in 2022.
