Good day,
My name is Martin J. Bauwens, aged 57.
Focusing on francophone countries, I wish to assist African start-ups with project conceptualisation, legal advice and seed capital, provided I understand or have the ability to understand what the project is about from a technical perspective.
I am a lawyer with roundabout 33 years of experience acquired in multiple jurisdictions, including francophone and anglophone countries, in Africa and in Europe.
I have in-depth expertise in contract law, crypto-assets regulations, conflict resolution, and privacy law, to only name a few. Lawyers have often perceived are rigid. I am the total opposite and this is probably the main reason why I am here, for the love of new ideas, innovation, and dedication.
Mentoring is a convenient, straightforward, and practical way to get to know the entrepreneurs, assist with conceptualization, provide (legal) advice where needed, and then decide on a potential seed capital investment.
