Michi Ferreol

I have spent over five years working in social enterprises across the United States, Africa and Southeast Asia. Organizations I’ve worked with range from a digital learning company to a new higher education institution to a workforce development startup. At my most recent full-time role at ALX, I was part of the founding team that built and launched a 6-month intensive work readiness program for recent college graduates in Kenya. More recently, I have worked closely with Venture Capital firms investing in early-stage education ventures, handling pipeline and dealflow management, investment assessment, and financial analysis.

My long-term goal is to build and fund education innovations in emerging markets, with a special interest in Southeast Asia and East Africa, and with a focus on preparing for the Future of Work. As a start, our team at KadaKareer aims to provide community support and resources to underserved students launching their digital careers in the Philippines. I want to pay it forward with help, mentorship and support to any aspiring entrepreneurs!

I have benefitted from mentorship throughout my career and would not be where I am today without the guidance of my seniors! I want to pay this forward.
