Mina Pokuaa Agyemang

Mina is a development strategist and a social intrapreneur who develops and promotes practical solutions to trade, environmental and social challenges. In her current role as the Participant Engagement and Outreach Manager at the United Nations Global Compact, she works with businesses to effectively shape their business strategies and operations to achieve sustainable value by delivering measurable impact to the world’s pressing needs while also delivering strong business results.

With a passion for development, she has performed programs and administrative functions in both international and local organizations where she has trained over 40 entrepreneurs in Green Business Development. She was a mentor on the 2023 Ghana Science and Tech Explorer Challenge Prize (GSTEP). Also, Mina co- foundered the Agenda Project, a project that sought the holistic education of orphans and underprivileged children.

Mina is a former Model United Nations trainer. She was a participant of the maiden Harvard Model United Nations Conference in 2015. She is a Resolution (USA) and YALI West Africa fellow and an alumnus of Peace Conference of Youth, Osaka- Japan. who served as a volunteer on several community service projects. She is a former curator of the Dodowa Hub of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. She was responsible for designing, planning and implementing programs for the hub.
