Mohamad Fouad Abdelwahab

Mohamad Fouad is my name, and I am a 2X founder with 11 years of practical experience and have developed 14 products within 6 different industries with more than 50K users and stakeholders. I received 2 entrepreneurial awards and participated in 5 accelerators, incubators, and business programs in Egypt and Canada. I am looking to support early-stage founders in Egypt and the MENA region. My ultimate goal is to help researchers and PhD holders turn their own research papers into fruitful products. My interests are (AI, Legal, Fintech, Nanotech, Optics, Proptech, Photonics and Electronics). Last but not least, I have a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Ottawa in Canada.

1- To leverage my own practical business experience and help entrepreneurs in Egypt and the MENA region, as most mentors in our region are MBA and DBA holders but not true founders who dealt with the bureaucratic and hard procedures to create a business and have a positive impact.
2- Change the mentality and improve the mindset, or, in other words, help the entrepreneurs solve their own problems by themselves.
3- I have faced a lot of problems as a 2X founder, so I have a lot of practical examples to equip them in their entrepreneurial journey. I believe in learning by doing and teaching by example. Last but not least, I will help them with my local and regional ecosystem network.
