Hello, I’m Nahayo Benjamin Dusenge, an agricultural scientist and tech professional with 8+ years in sustainable farming and IT integration. My work merges agroecology, climate resilience, and digital tools to empower smallholder farmers across Africa and Asia. As founder of Agrifirm Consultancy and a Microsoft 365 specialist, I’ve designed regenerative practices like rice-fish co-culture, streamlined farm data analytics, and led farmer training programs.
I mentor early-stage agritech/climate-tech founders to transform research into scalable solutions. My focus:– Sustainable Systems: Nutrient optimization, biofertilizers, and regenerative practices.– Tech Integration: Data tools (GIS, Power BI), ICT for extension services, and AI/blockchain applications.– Climate Resilience: Frameworks for food security and farmer-centric adaptation.– Collaboration: Bridging policy, tech, and grassroots for impact.
Having advised FAO-linked initiatives and managed cross-border partnerships, I guide startups in refining user-centric models, securing stakeholder buy-in, and measuring ecological-economic impact. Let’s build ventures that harmonize tradition, tech, and planetary health.
I mentor to give back to the startup ecosystem and empower entrepreneurs tackling pressing challenges in agriculture, climate resilience, and rural development. My motivation stems from a deep belief that sustainable innovation thrives when knowledge is shared equitably. Having spent years designing regenerative farming systems, training smallholder farmers, and bridging tech with agroecology, I aim to help founders avoid pitfalls I’ve navigated—like scaling climate-smart practices or integrating data tools into low-resource settings.
While I value learning about new industries and making connections, my core focus is fostering solutions that prioritize planetary and community health. Mentoring allows me to amplify impact by guiding startups to align profitability with sustainability, refine user-centric models, and leverage cross-sector partnerships. My goal isn’t to scout for investments or roles but to cultivate a generation of ventures that harmonize tradition, technology, and ecological stewardship.
