Omopeju is a certified management consultant with a very diversified background, however, my area of expertise is mainly the hospitality and real estate sectors with over 15 years entrepreneurial experience. I could also be termed as a serial entrepreneur as my journey started as a fashionpreneur but I eventually settled into the hospitality and real estate industries. I’m passionate about providing mentorship (being a product of mentorship) and business development support to budding entrepreneurs with the hope that they would learn a thing or two from my experience and avoid some of the pitfalls encountered in the entrepreneurial journey.
Previously my company was given a mandate to train over 200 youths in Hospitality Operations (Front Office, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and Sales) in partnership with Lagos State and UNDP under the Lagos State Employability Support Programme an initiative of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF). Upon successful completion of the project we got a mandate to train about 600 youths on Food Handling and Safety as well as cleaning and housekeeping under the same programme but sponsored by LSETF and USADF. Also entered into a partnership with Halogen Academy to provide the same training across Nigeria.
I also facilitate Customer Service, Business Development and Business Transformation trainings for various organisations and sit on the advisory board of Nenis Autocare (a female-owned automobile service centre).
I am currently a Certified SAFe Scrum Master, POPM and Agile Coach. I believe these skills would be helpful in driving agility and business transformation with a Lean Business mindset in view of the ongoing global economic downturn and inflation. I am also a certified Entrepreneurial Manager, Management Consultant and Business Development Service Provider.
I have been an expert to state governments across Nigeria on diverse economic and technology based projects.
I am very passionate about mentoring because you not only get the opportunity to give back and help another business grow into a successful enterprise but you also get a chance to learn a whole lot from your mentee.
Also, seeing my mentee becoming a success gives me such immense joy and I know I have in one way contributed to the growth of the economy, be it locally, nationally or internationally.
