Patience Abraham

I work for Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology as a hub manager at Buni Innovation hub in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. Our role is to coordinate, support and advice the government in areas of Research, Innovation,Science and Technology. As a hub manager i have been responsible for coordinate and supporting startups and innovation spaces through different program includes mentorships to both hubs and startups, fund support to both startups and hubs, linkages and networking, research, representing startups and hubs to the government; to mention few. I am also serve as the Board member and Country lead for Southern Africa Innovation Collective (SAIC) that involve other in South Africa,Botswna, Namibia,Zambia and Tanzania.

As a hub manager at the commission I feel the responsibility to see startups in Tanzania are breaking barrier in the markert.See their growth and milestone achieved in the competative markert is what motivated me to apply to become a mentor. I would love to share experience I have with startups
