About

As a computer science student, I co-founded mNotify in 2012. mNotify is a technology company specializing in developing innovative customer engagement tools that enable brands to expand their reach, connect with their audience, foster customer loyalty, and boost revenue through services such as Mass Messaging (Bulk SMS), Automated Voice Messaging Solutions (Bulk Robocalls), USSD, and Chatbots. Under my leadership for the past 11 years, mNotify has become a prominent player in the cloud service sector, offering products across SMS, Voice Technologies, and USSD infrastructure, serving over 20,000 clients spanning various industries.

Driven by my enthusiasm for Artificial Intelligence and my conviction that Social Commerce is the future of trade in Africa, Ronald founded Chatbots Africa. The goal of Chatbots Africa is to empower African SMEs by leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Chatbots for enhanced revenue and improved customer engagement in Conversational Commerce. Though only a year old, Chatbots Africa has already registered in Ghana and Kenya, processing over USD 200,000 worth of transactions and earning recognition through awards.

I am an alumnus of the University of Leicester and Stanford University SEED Program

Firstly, I will offer mentorship to aspiring entrepreneurs, guiding the building of scalable and sustainable products and businesses for the African Market. Drawing from my journey of founding and growing mNotify and Chatbots Africa to over 20,000 clients, I will share practical insights on navigating challenges, identifying market opportunities, and executing effective growth strategies.

Participating in programs like Stanford University’s SEED Program and MEST Scale Program equipped me with knowledge of best practices in running and scaling startups, I will advise startups on building efficient structures, managing teams in a fast-paced environment, and making strategic decisions to achieve sustainable growth in the African Market.

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

Mentorship allows me to make a positive impact beyond my own business. Witnessing the joy and fulfilment of mentees who implemented my advice one way or the other and initiatives is incredibly rewarding. I thrive on hearing the challenges faced by business owners. Brainstorming solutions together and witnessing the positive impact on them, their businesses, and their staff fuels my passion for mentoring.
