About

I am the Founder of Ahiyoyo, a cross-border trade and logistics platform helping African SMEs efficiently source, purchase, and ship goods internationally particularly between China and West Africa.

In addition to building Ahiyoyo, I have contributed to initiatives in collaboration with institutions such as the International Trade Centre (ITC) and APIEX, supporting programs focused on export development, SME growth, and access to international markets.

My experience sits at the intersection of field operations and strategic advisory. I work directly with entrepreneurs and businesses dealing with the realities of international trade from supplier sourcing and verification to logistics execution and payment security. This hands-on exposure allows me to provide guidance that is both practical and grounded in real market conditions.

I have supported businesses across Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, and other markets in structuring their import/export operations, reducing risks, and improving efficiency.

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

I mentor because I have seen how many entrepreneurs enter international trade without the right structure, leading to avoidable losses and setbacks. Through my work in both the private sector (Ahiyoyo) and institutional environments (ITC, APIEX), I have observed a clear gap between opportunity and execution.

My goal is to bridge that gap by providing practical guidance that helps entrepreneurs make better decisions, reduce risks, and build sustainable operations.

I am also motivated by the opportunity to contribute to Africa’s economic development by strengthening the capacity of SMEs to access and succeed in international markets.
