Shuai Zhang

Shuai is an accomplished entrepreneur and business executive with extensive experience in manufacturing across China, Japan, France, and the US. As a co-founder of a leading manufacturing company’s North American subsidiary, he focuses on international development and strategy in waste recycling and textile manufacturing. Previously, he co-founded a VC-backed startup that supported emerging Asian artists and artisans, underscoring his fervent dedication to nurturing creativity and innovation. Driven by a passion for early-stage venture capital and angel investing globally, particularly in climate tech and social impact ventures in Africa, Shuai brings a diverse and global perspective to his investment endeavors. With an MBA from INSEAD, a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, he possesses a robust academic foundation complemented by industry expertise. Beyond work, Shuai loves immersing himself in contemporary art and enjoys blue skies as a trained skydiver having jumped dozens of times across seven countries.
