Traore Cheikh Tourad

As a Communications professional with over seven years of experience, I have developed expertise across a broad spectrum of areas, including customer relationship management, policy communication, and private sector promotion. Throughout my career, I have successfully built and managed the digital presence of both national and regional programs, including for organizations such as AKADEMIYA2063—an entity dedicated to supporting the African Union’s Agenda 2063 through evidence-based policy implementation of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme—and USAID’s Entrepreneurship & Investment Activity.

My bilingual communication skills (French and English) have been honed through continuous engagement with diverse stakeholders, ranging from policymakers and development practitioners to business and trade leaders, as well as youth and women. This versatility has enabled me to navigate complex environments while driving meaningful conversations and fostering collaboration across sectors.

For almost 3 years now, I have been supporting private sector growth through communication activities targeting youth and women, and my latest experience is intervening as Communications Consultant with the International Finance Corporation.
This has allowed me to leverage digital communication tools and techniques, and develop peer-to-peer and B2B networks for entrepreneurs’ growth. My aim through this mentorship is to share this experience with mentees.
