I am interested in mentoring because I believe that sharing my experience and knowledge can help entrepreneurs in Africa succeed. As a General Partner at Modus Capital and former Executive Director of an Africa-focused Single Family Office, I have gained extensive experience in asset management, private equity, and venture capital in Africa. I have also advised a global VC fund focused on deep technologies and blockchain.
My interests and focus areas as a mentor include early-stage startups. I am particularly interested in helping entrepreneurs navigate the fundraising process, build strong teams, and develop effective business models. I am also passionate about supporting startups that have the potential to make a positive impact on society leveraging the latest technologies such as AI, Blockchain and IOT.
I am highly motivated to be a mentor because I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and support entrepreneurs who are just starting out. I believe that mentorship is an excellent way to share my knowledge and experience and to help these entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of starting and growing a business.
As a VC fund investor, I am also interested in discovering new investment opportunities and building my network of contacts in different industries. Through mentorship, I can stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in various industries and learn about new businesses that have the potential for growth and success.
